Service your boiler annually
Ideally, you should get your boiler serviced every year. This is often enough to spot any issues, but not so regualr that you find yourself wasting money. Annual servicing is the perfect way to keep your boiler running as it should, without costing you excessive amounts of money.
Service your boiler when you move to a new home
When you move to a new home, it always a good idea to service the boiler. While the previous owners may tell you it is running correctly, getting it serviced for yourself gives you peace of mind in knowing everything is as it should be. Not only this, but it gets you into the routine of annual servicing.
Service your boiler in the summer
The best time to service your boiler is in the late summer months, e.g. August or September. Most issues will occur with your boiler over the summer, as it will be laying dormant for a long time. Getting it serviced before you begin to rely on it every day, means we can have any problems fixed without causing too much disruption to your home. There is nothing worse than going to turn your boiler on in the winter and finding out it won't switch on! To reduce the risk of problems we recommend you switch your boiler on for around 15 minutes at least once per month throughout the summer.
Service your boiler before problems begin to show
Even if your boiler seems to be working as it should, servicing is still a good idea. Many problems begin internally and do not show outward signs until they are much larger! during your service, we will be able to fid any small issues and fix them while they are still easy and cheap to fix. Never let your boiler problems escalate into a breakdown!
